Trac are pleased to announce the new UKAS Accredited CMM Verification Service
Over the past 10 years Trac Measurement Systems has successfully established a part programming, sub contract inspection service and CMM software training; gaining a reputation for providing a reliable, high quality service to our ever expanding customer base.
Following increased customer demand, Trac are now pleased to announce CMM verification has been added to our Inspection services. Trac now offer a fully UKAS accredited CMM verification service.
Trac have invested a significant amount of capital to purchase the very best in metrology calibration equipment. The Koba Gauge coupled with the latest Edale Thermometer give Trac a very low uncertainty budget, thus giving the ability to deliver the best results available to our customers.
Rob Allward; CMM Engineer gives his lowdown on the UKAS accreditation; ‘After many weeks work comprising of a dedicated team of Trac people already involved in the CMM service, D-Day duly arrived on the first week of work after the Christmas break. The day began with UKAS going over our procedures and documentation, UKAS then began the observation of a CMM Verification being performed in the Lab at Trac Measurement Systems in Telford by myself. After a meeting at the end of the day UKAS announced that we had received our extension to scope for CMM Verification to ISO10360-2. This was very big step in providing quality service to our customers, as Trac can now also perform Service and Verification, giving full and complete support for customers with CMM capability.'
