Z340 Automatic Coating Analyser
The Trac Measurement Systems Z340 Automatic Coating Analyser has been developed to give detailed distribution analysis of sprayed lacquer inside the can and Sprayed "Over Varnish" on the outside of the can. The system utilizes state of the art non-contact spectroscopy technology and is suitable for both Aluminum and Steel Can inspection (Single and double Pass spray).
The use of TRAC's proven can handling conveying systems ensures minimal effort for the operator. Simply load a batch of cans by hand or automatically from the production line after the LSM's.
A fully flexible CNC controlled measurement probe, ensures all sizes of can from 202 - 211 body can be inspected by simple program selection, without the need for change parts. (Other body diameters available upon request).
The system is available as a conveyor loaded (Automatic) version or fully integrated (In-line) version. Both systems can be specified with TRAC's optional LSM / ISG recognition camera module for "color spray dot" identification, ensuring SPC data output is "tagged" with the relevant traceability for effective remedial actions.
Cycle time is typically from 30 seconds to 3 minutes depending on the test routine selected, a simple 12 point check similar to traditional manual methods can be specified or for more detailed analysis, why not perform a detailed 100 point check and 10 radial positions and heights around the can.
All our Z340 measuring systems are supplied with a Windows XP Professional Operating System, ensuring a secure operator environment and powerful networking capability to your existing quality systems.
TRAC's powerful Windows Software ensures the operator is presented with measurement information, such as Average, Range, Max and Min for all features where applicable.
Coating distribution is displayed immediately after each can is inspected. Both Numeric & Colour distribution map's can be selected to "visualise" the spray distribution by the operator.....
Data is also exported seamlessly to 3rd party data acquisition (SPC) systems such as Infinity, NWA, Lighthouse or SPCXplorer......
