Swift Fix
Swiftfix is a Modular Fixturing System to assist the CMM programmer to repeatably locate and hold components in the most effective manner for probing.
A wide range of accessories is available to suit every type of component.
The basis of the system is the Stand-offs which can be screwed into the baseplate and is available in a variety of diameters and lengths.
These can also be connected to each other to increase the range of the system.
Fittings are available which can connect to these Stand-offs to give an even greater holding flexibility and include the following items:-

- Spring Plungers

No matter how complex or awkward the component, Swiftfix offers a solution for holding it.
By virtue of the complexity of many of today's manufactured components, the held part needs to be uncluttered and the elements used to hold and clamp the part need to be discreet, thereby allowing measuring probe maximum accessibility.
Flexibility is therefore the major requirement, particularly where component size varies. Another unique feature of the Swiftfix product is the modular system which allows baseplates to be linked together to suit larger components and yet the hole pitch between plates is maintained.
