Utilizing our vast knowledge base and experience within the aerospace market both from manufacturing and metrology Trac Measurement Systems Ltd embarked on a new direction out of which stemmed our very own design of a specific CNC Machine Tool. 

The Trac CNC Boring Bar Machine has been designed for use in the manufacture, repair and overhaul of modern turbo-fan jet engines.  The machine is mostly used to cut suitably contoured fan track profiles into the attrition lining of fancases, but with suitable tooling can also be adapted for other tasks including the removal of acoustic and ice impact panels from within the fancase.  Being a TMS design mean's that the machine has many unique features and none more so than the capability of the entire machine tool being able to be shipped anywhere in the world and functional within hours. The machine is very user friendly and easily programmable and can be used on a huge variety of engine sizes.
