Trac Measurement Systems are pleased to announce the recent Installation of their first Z313 Series Automatic Enamel Rating systems at a leading Can making facility in Europe.
Following a 12 month development program, by TRAC's in house engineering team, the NEW Automatic Enamel Rating system offers many advantages over traditional systems.
Using Trac's modular design philosophy and proven Automation and handling systems, multiple Can sizes can be tested without the need for manual changeover.
Body diameters 202 - 211 and can heights from 15cl to 56.8cl can be inspected fully automatically & under the control of Trac's widely praised GaugeXplorer software.
The system can be supplied for conventional conveyor loading, or direct "Line-feed" operation, using a new Spray gun recognition camera module, which detects the "colour spray dot marking" on the base of the can, and assigns the"LSM / ISG traceability" to the SPC data output file.
Class leading systems accuracy coupled with a "Posi-fill" volumetric metered filling system, ensures fill level control to +/ 0.5mm, preventing common "short fills" and missed "metal exposure" towards the top wall or necked area of the can.
Other benefits including throughput speeds of 3 CPM, electrolyte conductivity monitoring and Touch screen Operator Interface, make the system ideal for high speed and swing line plants around the world.
